The Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) has emerged as a premier event for industry professionals eager to explore international opportunities. This year, the festival highlights the strong influence of Korea and France, both of which lead the international charge with vibrant national pavilions. The TCCF’s sold-out marketplace and record-breaking number of exhibitors showcase its growing significance in the global creative content landscape.
Korea and France at the Forefront
The 2025 edition of TCCF, running from November 4-7 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, marks a milestone with the debut of dedicated national pavilions from South Korea and France. South Korea’s national presence is managed by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), featuring leading industry players like KBS, MBC, and SBS’s Studio S, alongside newcomers like KT Studiogenie and Kang Contents. The Gyeonggi Content Agency, in collaboration with the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), will also facilitate regional companies’ participation.
France matches this enthusiasm with a pavilion organized by Institut Français and Business France, including 10 companies specializing in film, animation, and immersive content. Key organizations such as the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) and Bpifrance will be present, aiming to foster international collaborations.
Global and Local Participation
The festival boasts an international contingent of 51 exhibitors from France, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, complemented by 67 Taiwanese companies. These participants represent diverse sectors including film, TV, animation, publishing, and gaming, enhancing the festival’s global appeal.
Thailand’s Creative Economy Agency seeks to forge partnerships with Taiwanese creators, while the Philippines aims to enhance its content’s global reach through the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions. Hong Kong is represented by Asian content specialists, Regentact and Cheers Media, highlighting their expertise in program distribution and co-productions.
Showcasing Taiwanese Creativity
Taiwan itself shines at the event, particularly through the Animation & Visual Technologies Zone, organized by the Taiwan Animation & Visual Effects Association. This zone features 14 local companies that showcase Taiwan’s comprehensive production capabilities, from conception to distribution.
A dedicated Production Resource Zone also highlights Taiwan’s diverse filming locations, with film commissions from cities such as Taipei, New Taipei, and Taichung promoting local production services to international filmmakers.
TAICCA chair Sue Wang expressed excitement over the record international participation, noting the global market’s strong interest in Taiwan’s creative industries. She anticipates that TCCF will continue to play a crucial role in bringing Taiwanese creators and their outstanding work to the world stage.
