Authorities in Brentwood, a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee, are currently delving into an alleged assault involving actor Alan Ritchson, famously known for his role in the hit series “Reacher.” This incident has captured considerable attention as police seek to unravel the details surrounding the weekend confrontation.
Alleged Altercation Caught on Video
The situation came to light when TMZ released a video purportedly showing Alan Ritchson in a confrontation with a neighbor, Ronnie Taylor. Taylor claims the altercation began on Saturday when he observed Ritchson speeding through the neighborhood on a motorcycle, causing a disturbance. Expressing his frustration, Taylor alleges he made a rude gesture towards the actor, who reportedly reciprocated in kind.
Escalation of Tensions
Taylor tells TMZ that the tensions peaked on Sunday when he once again saw Ritchson, this time accompanied by two individuals whom he believes to be Ritchson’s young sons, also riding motorcycles. Taylor approached the actor, reportedly asking, “Can you stop this, please?” The encounter allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation, with Taylor claiming Ritchson struck him several times, as captured on video. Witnesses observed from nearby as the actor’s green Kawasaki motorcycle was parked by the street.
Police Investigation Ongoing
Evidence of the altercation includes an image shared by Taylor, showing facial redness and swelling, allegedly from the incident. Brentwood Police Captain Steve Pepin confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that an investigation is ongoing. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the inquiry is expected to continue over the coming days.
