Reuniting for “Freakier Friday”

Jamie Lee Curtis couldn’t be more thrilled to team up again with Lindsay Lohan for “Freakier Friday.” Reflecting on their time together, Curtis shared with Variety’s Marc Malkin at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards in Los Angeles, “She has taught me so much.” Curtis was particularly impressed by Lohan’s professionalism and the unique touches she brings to the set, such as her personalized lighting techniques. “We had a good time. We love each other,” she added.

The film picks up with Anna, originally played by Lohan, now experiencing life as a mother. Describing the sequel, Curtis emphasized, “It’s a movie for today,” highlighting its aim to resonate with audiences through its heartfelt and humorous narrative. Joining the returning cast are new faces, including Manny Jacinto and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, with Nisha Ganatra directing.
