Tomorrowland, renowned for its electrifying music festivals, is set to make its debut in Southeast Asia with the launch of Tomorrowland Thailand. Scheduled to take place from December 11-13, this event will be held at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi. The Thailand iteration will join the festival’s original Belgium edition and Tomorrowland Brasil, expanding its global footprint. As excitement builds, attendees can anticipate a vibrant fusion of music, culture, and community.
A Global Celebration Comes to Thailand
Tomorrowland’s expansion to Thailand signifies a strategic move to establish the country as a prime destination for global tourism and creative events. The Tourism Authority of Thailand expressed their enthusiasm: “Tomorrowland Thailand marks an important milestone in our ambition to position the country as a leader in global tourism and creative experiences.” The event promises to attract music lovers from around the globe, inviting them to experience Thailand’s unique charm and hospitality.
The festival will accommodate more than 50,000 attendees daily, featuring multiple stages for diverse performances. Unlike previous editions, Tomorrowland Thailand will not offer camping facilities but will provide various hotel packages to ensure a comfortable stay for visitors. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting January 8.
A Collaborative Vision
WEAREONE.world CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers highlighted the significance of this expansion: “Expanding Tomorrowland to a new continent is a milestone we approach with great respect and excitement. Thailand feels like the right place, not only because of its beauty and energy, but also because of the shared ambition to create something meaningful and world-class together.” This initiative marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration, with the Belgian team partnering closely with a dedicated local team in Thailand.
Interconnected Festivals with a Unified Theme
Tomorrowland Thailand will be part of a larger narrative connecting its other editions, including Tomorrowland Winter in France. The overarching theme for 2026 and 2027, titled “Consciencia,” aims to weave a rich tapestry across continents, bringing together diverse cultures under a unified vision.
According to the official Tomorrowland website, “Consciencia unveils a mysterious dimension where six primal emotions form the foundations of existence: Wonder, Love, Anger, Joy, Desire, and Sadness.” These emotions will be portrayed through distinct factions, each with unique visual expressions and rituals, creating an experience that is both otherworldly and deeply human.
With Tomorrowland Thailand on the horizon, music enthusiasts around the world are eagerly anticipating the festivities that promise to blend the enchanting landscapes of Thailand with the festival’s signature magic.
