With a strong push to establish Thailand as a creative epicenter, the Creative Economy Agency (CEA) is set to unveil the second installment of its Content Project Market. This dynamic event, core to the nation’s creative sector strategy, aims to solidify connections between Thai creators and a robust network of over 70 investors. By enabling direct access to production houses and global platforms, the initiative positions Thai talent on an international stage and reinforces the country’s creative economy. The keyword “Content Project Market” will be central to this innovative showcase.
Enhancing Opportunities for Thai Creators
The Content Project Market serves as a vibrant hub where Thai filmmakers, screenwriters, and animators can engage directly with industry leaders. Featuring a yve-style.com of sessions, including project pitches, B2B business matchmaking, and networking receptions, it offers rich opportunities for collaboration. Attendees will gain insights from industry forums led by experts, providing valuable exposure to both professionals and those interested in content and media. More than 70 companies are poised to participate, underscoring the event’s significance.
A Vision for Growth and Sustainability
Chakrit Pichyangkul, executive director of CEA, emphasizes the broader purpose of the Content Project Market. “CEA views the Content Project Market as more than just an event — it is a step toward building a comprehensive and sustainable ecosystem for Thai content creators,” he stated. By linking talent with funding and platforms, a pathway is created for projects to advance into production, ultimately elevating Thai content to compete globally.
Aligning with Thailand’s Creative Strategy
This initiative is a key component of Thailand’s soft power strategy, spotlighting the country as an emerging creative hub in Southeast Asia. Pichyangkul noted the economic potential of Thai content, asserting that “Thai films and series have the power to attract international tourists and drive demand for Thai products and services featured in global content.” The Content Project Market not only enhances the visibility of Thai creators but also serves as a catalyst for the country’s creative economy.
A Showcase of Diverse Talent
A total of 54 creative teams are slated to present their projects at the market. Of these, 34 teams originate from CEA’s Content Lab 2025, cultivated under three specialized programs: Mid-Career: Project, Mid-Career: Story, and Mid-Career: Animation. An additional 20 professional content teams were selected through an open call process, exemplifying diverse talent and innovation.
Operating under the Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, the CEA is committed to fostering a balanced and sustainable growth in the creative economy. By integrating creativity with innovation, it enhances the value of goods, services, and cultural capital, demonstrating a strategic vision for future development.
The Content Project Market will unfold from September 10-12 at Bangkok’s True Digital Park (East), marking a pivotal moment for Thai creators and the nation’s creative landscape.
