In a recent report, it’s been revealed that Prince Harry plans to return to the UK “every few months.” His last visit was in July, when he met with his father, King Charles, and stepmother, Queen Camilla, at their Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire.
According to sources close to Harry, he is expected to visit more frequently over the next year. This September, he will be in the UK for a week to participate in the annual WellChild Awards, a charity he has passionately supported since 2007. Although his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, accompanied him during his last trip, it remains undetermined if they will join him on this upcoming visit. The source indicated that Harry “wants more of a foothold” in the UK and “always loves” seeing his family.

Harry’s Last UK Trip
In July, during his most recent trip to the UK, Harry commemorated the beginning of a one-year countdown to the upcoming Invictus Games scheduled for 2027 in Birmingham. This visit was notably the first time Harry had seen his father since September 2025 and marked a special reunion between his children and their grandfather, having last visited for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Friends close to Harry reported that he felt “buoyed, very happy, and really energized” following the family reunion. An insider hinted that this meeting could signify a potential reconciliation, stating, “Every journey of a thousand miles begins with one footstep.”
WellChild Awards
Scheduled annually in September, the WellChild Awards will see Harry as a key participant. The exact date for the 2026 ceremony has yet to be finalized. Harry has championed WellChild, the national charity for seriously ill children, for nearly two decades in his patron role.

Reflecting on his time with WellChild, Harry shared in an exclusive interview with HELLO!, “I think once you become a parent yourself, everything changes. It’s emotional enough not being a parent and seeing what these families go through, but then when you have your own kids or when you’re expecting your own kids, that’s when it really hits you.”
