Perez Hilton is currently hospitalized in a “serious but stable” condition, according to a family update released on Saturday. The celebrity blogger is now facing surgery after suffering injuries, which come days after he livestreamed a self-harm incident.
Hospitalization Update
Hilton’s family confirmed that he remains under the Florida Baker Act, emphasizing the seriousness of his condition. “Perez’s condition remains serious but stable. He experienced significant blood loss and sustained additional injuries that will require surgery in the coming days,” they stated on his official website, which can be found here. They also expressed gratitude that he was able to spend quality time with his mother and sister in the hospital.
Privacy Concerns
The family criticized “false and inaccurate reports circulating in the media regarding Perez and the circumstances surrounding this situation.” They clarified that Hilton’s communication has been extremely limited to immediate family and medical staff, stating, “He has not communicated with the media or issued any public statements.”
In light of this, they reiterated their request for privacy and urged the media present outside Hilton’s home to vacate the area. “We again respectfully ask members of the media to leave the home and surrounding area, stop following family members, and cease photographing Perez’s children,” the family insisted. They assured that Hilton’s children “remain safe and are being cared for by immediate family.”

The family also requested that photo agencies refrain from purchasing or distributing any photographs of Hilton’s children that may have been taken.
On August 4, Hilton reportedly harmed himself during a TikTok livestream. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed that he was “safely recovered” and transported to a local hospital after the incident occurred while he was alone in his residence.
