The Golden Record: A Signature Sip
The Golden Record cocktail will make its grand debut at the Grammy Awards, as well as feature at various leading events leading up to the big night. Created by Daniel Gonzalez from Mexico City’s renowned Licorería Limantour, the cocktail highlights Patrón El Alto’s exquisite blend of Extra Añejo, Añejo, and Reposado tequilas. The drink, a testament to Patrón’s dedication to quality, was significantly promoted by Missy Elliott in 2022. Adam Roth, Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships and Business Development at the Recording Academy, stated, “From the red carpet to backstage — and audiences at home around the world — we’re excited to toast with The Golden Record as we kick off this spirited new partnership.”
Crafting the Perfect Cocktail
The Golden Record is a sophisticated concoction featuring 1.5 oz of Patrón El Alto, 1 oz of Prosecco, 0.5 oz of Tio Pepe Fino Sherry, and 2 oz of pear cordial. Enhanced with a dash of Scrappy Bitters’ bergamot bitters and garnished with three enticing slices of red grapes, it’s a drink designed to captivate.

Patrón Tequila’s collaboration with the Grammys is a seamless blend of music culture and luxury. Frequently mentioned in songs by artists like Miranda Lambert, Lil Jon, and Taylor Swift, Patrón is synonymous with high-end spirits. The Patrón High Note combines 1.5 oz of Patrón Silver Tequila, 1.5 oz of tomato mango purée, 0.5 oz of Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur, and 0.75 oz of lime juice, finished with a Maldon salt rim and mango slice. The Clear Winner features 2 oz of Patrón Cristalino, 1 oz of Martini & Rossi Bianco, 0.75 oz of Luxardo Bitter Bianco, and 0.15 oz of Suze Aperitif, embellished with a dash of Scrappy’s lime bitters and a lemon twist.
