The Deauville American Film Festival has announced an exciting lineup for the industry segment of its 2026 edition, set to take place from September 4 to 13 in the picturesque seaside town of Deauville, France. The festival’s Industry Days will unfold over two days, featuring a yve-style.com of engaging talks, panels, and sessions aimed at professionals in the film industry.
Panels and Key Sessions
Among the highlights is ‘The Art and Craft of Foodstyling,’ which will delve into the intricacies of cinematic food styling for television and film. This session will showcase the work of Wallace Food Stylist, a Paris-based culinary design studio known for its work on the beloved series “Emily in Paris.”
The festival will also host a comprehensive two-part session titled ‘How to Maximize Your Award Campaign in the U.S.’ The first part will include insights from DDA’s Carola Ash, Sébastien Cauchon of Cinema Collectors, and David Thion of Les Films Pelleas. The second part will be led by Benoit Berthe Siward, CEO of The Animation Showcase.
Breaking into Hollywood
Focusing on on-screen talent, the panel ‘How to Break in the U.S. as a French Actor’ will feature casting director Mathilde Snodgrass, actress Mathilde Ollivier (“Overlord”), and talent agent Raphaelle Danglard. They will share their experiences and strategies for making an impact in Hollywood.

The festival will also address the financial aspects of filmmaking. Joanna Verner and Celine Leclercq from CNC will be present for the panel discussion ‘The Financing Schemes in France,’ which will cover tax rebate opportunities for international productions. Additionally, the session ‘A U.S. Production Shot in France’ will explore the making of Netflix’s rom-com “Champagne Problems,” directed by Mark Steven Johnson and starring Minka Kelly and Tom Wozniczka, which was filmed in France in 2024 with producers David Atrakchi and Boris Mendza.
