Adam Aron, 71, the CEO of AMC Theatres, suffered a minor stroke on November 17 during a trip to London related to AMC’s international cinema operations. He promptly received top-tier emergency medical care at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurological Sciences in London. There, he was given a timely injection of clot-dissolving medication and remained in the hospital for two nights for observation and care.

AMC has assured that Aron did not experience any loss in cognitive function, with his ability to process complex information, memory, and written communication remaining intact.
