In a heartbreaking incident, friends and first responders came together to aid Victoria Zardoya during a time of crisis. As members of her group “immediately began climbing down” to reach her, they quickly called for help, ensuring that first responders could locate them without delay.
The Rescue Efforts
Silberbusch, one of Zardoya’s friends, recounted the group’s efforts: “We stayed with Victoria and held her, trying to make her as comfortable as possible while we waited for first responders to arrive.” Responding to the emergency, paramedics utilized a boat for transportation, and a medical helicopter later arrived to transport Zardoya to the hospital after what was described as an incredibly challenging rescue.
A Celebration of Life
In the wake of Zardoya’s passing, her friend Milania, 20, organized a celebration of life to honor the vibrant spirit of her beloved friend. Milania described Zardoya as a person who had the ability to “walk into a room and light up the entire place.” Reflecting on their cherished moments together, Milania noted on Instagram on September 10, “Victoria was genuinely the life of the party. She loved being surrounded by her friends, having fun, listening to music, going to concerts, going to Tampa, and making memories.”

Milania emphasized the depth of their friendship, stating, “We got to grow up together, and I will always be grateful for every memory we made.” This statement encapsulates the bond they shared, highlighting Zardoya’s joy for life and the impact she had on those around her.
