Billie Eilish's 3D Concert Spectacle Directed by James Cameron

In an exciting new venture, Billie Eilish is set to captivate audiences with her upcoming 3D concert movie, “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” set for release by Paramount Pictures. This highly anticipated film, co-directed with legendary filmmaker James Cameron, promises to deliver an immersive experience that fans will not want to miss. As Eilish continues to break boundaries in the music and film industry, this collaboration marks a significant milestone in her career.

Billie Eilish announced the release of her 3D concert documentary during the final night of her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour in San Francisco. Set to hit theaters on March 20, 2026, the film will be distributed by Paramount Pictures in partnership with Darkroom Records, Interscope Films, and Lightstorm Entertainment.

“This is one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with [James Cameron] has truly been a dream come true,” Eilish expressed in her announcement. “Can’t wait for you all to see it.”

Back in July, during a Manchester concert, the multi-award-winning artist hinted at a special project with Cameron. She noted to fans that she was collaborating on something remarkable which involved wearing the same outfit across multiple performances alongside the director famous for “Avatar” and “Titanic.”

“Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it’s going to be in 3D,” she told the audience. “So, take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him. He’s in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don’t mind that, and also I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row.”

A year prior, Cameron’s company, Lightstorm Entertainment, revealed a partnership with Meta to offer more 3D content featuring big-name partnerships, including concerts, to Meta Quest headsets. This endeavor aligns with Eilish’s innovative projects, such as her previous films “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry” and “Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles.”

With “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” Billie Eilish continues her evolution as a powerhouse in the entertainment world, seamlessly blending her musical artistry with cinematic innovation. Fans worldwide eagerly anticipate the blending of her unique style with Cameron’s visionary artistry, set to unfold on the big screen in spectacular 3D.
