New Album Release: Deadbeat
The announcement of the tour closely follows the reveal of Tame Impala’s upcoming album, Deadbeat, which is slated for release on October 17. The band has already teased fans with the release of the single “Loser” and its accompanying music video. This album marks Tame Impala’s first major release since 2020’s The Slow Rush. Earlier this summer, Kevin Parker premiered new music at a club in Barcelona and dropped the single “End of Summer.”
Kevin Parker on Performing Live
Discussing his stage presence, Kevin Parker shared with Rolling Stone in 2019 that he has been embracing his onstage personality more fully. “Being a personality onstage, that’s something I’ve been growing into,” he explained. “Saying fuck it and being that person who can rile up the audience. That’s someone I never saw myself as.” This evolution promises to enhance the live experience during Tame Impala’s U.S. arena tour.
